Myles Davis is currently a consultant for NYU Langone in the areas of Government Relations & Community Affairs. He retired from Lutheran Medical Center/NYU Langone-Brooklyn in 2014 as Senior Vice President. He has a combined 45 years of service with LMC & NYU. During his tenure he was responsible for major modifications including the construction of a new Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Expansion of the Emergency Department.
Within days after the World Trade Center attack on 9/11, Myles was asked by the Giuliani administration to take a leadership role in the opening & operation of the Family Assistance Center at Pier 94 on the West Side. The center offered a wide range of services to family members of victims as well as survivors of the tragedy.
Mr. Davis has also earned significant recognition for his community involvement, especially for his 20-year affiliation with BRAVO Volunteer Ambulance Service during which time he served as President, Chairman of the Board of Directors and as an Emergency Medical Technician.
Finally, Mr. Davis has been the recipient of numerous awards from community & government agencies including the N.Y.C Council, NYS. Assembly & Senate, the NYPD, FDNY & the Office of the Mayor. In December of 2001, he was appointed as an Honorary Deputy Fire Commissioner in recognition of his support & assistance to members of the department.
