About Us

There are very few organizations with as clear a mission, excellent record, superlative reputation and unbroken history as Norwegian Christian Home & Health Center. We are proud of what God has allowed us to accomplish in the past and are deeply committed to serving more people in need in the future.

Our Quality of Care

Those who work and live within the boundaries of Norwegian Christian Home & Health Center trust our access control. Security devices throughout our facility monitor the grounds and residences and summon immediate attention when anything is amiss, assuring us that residents are where they are expected to be throughout the day and night. Those who wish to leave the grounds must sign out, indicating departure time, return time and the name and signature of an appropriate escort.

Our apartments and other living facilities are well equipped with easy-to-reach signal cords. When a resident elects to remain in private quarters during the day, on-site visits assure us of that person’s well-being.

Our Mission Statement

We have always recognized that our effort to care for every resident is a sacred trust. For as long as we can remember, our commitment has been guided by Psalm 127: Unless the Lord builds the home, we labor in vain. This has never been more true than today.

Residents and patients of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome here. Our pastors provide care for the spiritual needs of our residents who require it, for we believe our faith underlies all, supports all and inspires all. But, our welcoming hand is ecumenical. Residents and patients of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome here. There is no obligation to subscribe to the faith that drives us, and yet we certainly provide every opportunity to embrace it.

Our Executive Director

We are fortunate to have Mr. Anthony Restaino as our Executive Director since January 1, 2019. Mr. Restaino is a Certified Nursing Home Administrator with over 30 years of experience in Long-Term-Care Administration. His expert guidance, wisdom and compassion have enabled us to continue the excellent level of care we have been known for since 1903.
